Guest guest
There are a couple of other groups you might be interested in: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gastricbypasspeople2 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSSG-Protein/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OSSG-vitamins-minerals/ bypasspeople2 is another like GBIC mixed post and pre-op; Graduate is for members a year or more out. The other 2 are self-explanatary. I of course can't share on the graduate but I'm getting an awful lot of good info about life after the honeymoon. The protein and vita/min is very informative. In a nutshell, you're basically saying that the pouch might not be stretching, but getting used to the food I am putting in there.. hence giving me the feeling that I can eat more now than what I could at 4-8 weeks after surgery.. ( my op was 29th Aug 2002 ) Here's a question for those who go to the support meetings regarding POST OP stuff.. Do you guys get much by way of reading material and information?? If so, I would be interested in obtaining transcripts, literature etc because we have nothing by way of actual support meetings here in Australia.. All I got was the info pamphlet that the surgeon gave me regarding this operation.. Thank you in advance and thank you --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Angie, have you talked to your surgeon about this? or your doctor? Is it possible that you have a stricture leading into your pouch?
