Re: Drug Dantrium

From 1990 to about 1994 I was on Baclofen. Every time I sat down I

would fall asleep. My nero then put me Dantrium besides getting rid of

the drowsiness he said I could take Higher dosage. I was taking 100 mg

three times a day I then cut back to two times a day.

I didn't feel I needed to take one at night. Later I cut back to 100-mg

just in the mornings I couldn't tell a difference so I stayed on 100-mg

once a day. About two months ago my neuro and I went over my

medications. He wondered if the 100 mg of Dantrium was helping me and I

told him I wondered about that too. He didn't think that 100-mg was

really enough to make a difference and he was all for taking less

medications if possible. I then stopped and I really couldn't tell any

difference. All I'm taking now for PLS is Lexapro 20-mg for my emotions

and Antitriptyline 50-mg at night to sleep better. When I was on

Dantrium I did have a liver check once a year.

Dollie: Coincidentally, my neuro just prescribed dantrium for me.

Do a Google search for the drug and click on Dantrium capsules.

You'll get all the info you need. I'm to take it in addition to 50

mg of Baclofen. While drowsiness is listed as a side effect, my

neuro's nurse says it's very uncommon. Let me know how you do on it.
