I am finally going to take the plunge and get an excalibur. I haven't

had yogurt in close to 6 months because I just hate making it in my

Eurocuisine.

So, I'm looking at Lucy's Excalibur page and see that the 2500 has 8

SQ Ft and is 8.5 inches high, but for $30 more I can get the 2900

monster. I am very limited on space in my house and am worried that

the 2900 will be so big that I'll never want to use it.

At the same time, I'm looking at a store that sells 1 Qt Mason jars

that are 6.9 inches tall. Since they will fit in the 2500 and all I

really plan to do with the dehydrator is make yogurt and dry

garlic/onions for making my own spices, do you think that the 2500

will meet my needs?

Sorry to make that so lengthy but but before I invest in something so

expensive, I wanted to get others' opinions that have the products.

If anyone with the 2500 feels that they made a mistake and should

have gotten the 2900, please let me know.

Thanks for your help,

Misty Kimble
