Guest guest
I had a psych. eval. when I was approved for gastric bypass by another surgeon and thought it was a waste of time and money. When we were finished this man knew nothing about me and would have been of no help in the future because he was over 2 hours drive from me. As for the Pre-op meetings especially for out of staters only one meeting will make it much more convenient. We should only stay in N.C. long enough to be certain we are not in any danger and return home as soon as practical. Another financial burden lessened. The out patient surgery for stomach only confuses me a little. I would be afraid that the appetite would remain. I am already concerned about that even with the complete procedure. I have spent a lot of time reading this list, your web page, and talking to my doctor as well as reading other bypass type surgerons. (Boy, Foby looks like he cuts his patients in half, and they love it.) We are getting a lot of information here, but there are a few questions that I have that I think only Dr. Rutledge can answer. Well this is my addition to the confusion. Mitch , , S.C.
