Guest guest
Hi , too bad the gentler route wasn't enough! but, it sounds like they they know what they're doing though. I'm curious, aside from knowing that your jaw doesn't open as wide as it used to, do you feel the effects of this limitation in other ways? And is your face pretty much back to normal now? ( i forget how many months you're at now - is it around 2 or 3 months?) i see my surgeon and ortho on tuesday; so with my new knowledge (from you) i'll be sure to ask them some more specific questions regarding getting my jaw back in shape. its been almost five weeks, and i'm eager to move on!!! anik >From: fiddlesticks22000 <no_reply > >Reply-To: orthognathicsurgerysupport >To: orthognathicsurgerysupport >Subject: [Orthognathic Surgery Support ] Anik re: jaw exercises??? >Date: Fri, 06 Dec 2002 03:13:02 -0000 > >Hi Anik, > >Well, I saw my ortho for my 2nd post-op adjustment today, and he >canned the idea of just taking it easy exercise-wise > >His orders are for me to sit with my chin in my hand, elbow supported >on a desk or table, and to try to open my mouth without actually >opening it.
