Val me again...with hives again

Ok Val...after much discussion and much improvement today, I am

breaking out all over again tonight. This is really wearing me down as

it itches like hell... and haven't slept well in days.

I just spoke with a friend who tells me she had this years ago, and

was on antihistamines for 4 months with no releif. She switched dr's

and the second one had her take cortisone (I beleive those 5 day

tapering doses) and it went away never to return.

Could I try this with HC? Take megadoses for a few days and then

taper? What would be the down side....assuming the up side would be

no more hell?
