Guest guest
Early on when first diagnosed, there were some physicians thinking I had sarcoidosis...thus Vit D was a NO NO and I was directly to never take any foods with Vit D or a Vit with D in it, etc..and restrict my time in the sun....It was deemed later that no, I did not have Sarcoid...and DR. Whitman felt strongly that Vit D plays an essential role in helping those with these diseases...he has my Vit D levels cked routinely every couple months to be sure I am high enough...and truly, I do feel much better in the summer when I get more sun and I am on a supplement now...starting slowly a couple times a week....
