Guest guest
By the way all of my dreaming didn't do me any good, it just turned yucky and grey and rainy here in Washington - see what I get for complaining about our weather. I don't know how many here are in the Northwest, but those that are - does this wet weather make you all ache right through your bones too? Carole Carole, are you the Carol(e) who was a dentist? I become confused on our many similar first names. Harper
Guest guest
, YES!!! Stopping 2 weeks..you flared! The minocin the brand would be the best when you restart. You will gte back on track.Much more absorption than generic!( for me) Do not ask my opinion about those drugs. I was made very sick on them. Its the main reason I no longer want a rheumo in my life. The rheumos are all bought and paid for by drug cos( the ones I know) I believe we have an infection. Internists share this and rheumos do not. The antibiotic approach makes perfect sense. You need to work your diet as well and cut sugar and and carbs. I know for me getting a doc familar with AP was how I got real results. Postwhat state you need to see one or even if you can travle and you will get some suggestions of docs familar with this protocol and using it wisely! Just hang in there. You will do fine again Love Marge In a message dated 9/16/2004 12:05:06 PM Eastern Standard Time, rheumatic writes: Hi, I had been doing really well on minocycline for over eight months, but the last two months I have been almost back to where I started- swollen hands and feet, lots of pain...I keep trying to ride it out, but my rheumatologist wants to put me on methotrexate. Right before the flare up I had stopped taking the minocycline for two weeks because I was afraid I might be pregnant. Does anyone think this might be why the flare is lasting so long? SHould I go on stronger drugs? Not sure if the antibiotics are going to kick back in or if they just stopped working. Any advice would be great. Guest guest
Dear Marge, One more thing, I forgot to ask, will they use minocin on ? Isn't it a tetracycline? What about teeth staining. 's dermatologist seemed to be more concerned about his teeth being stained, and that we should wait for the antiobiotic treatment until after his permanent teeth were in. Is there an alternate antibiotic they use for kids? Thanks Diane Re: rheumatic Digest Number 2613 , YES!!! Stopping 2 weeks..you flared! The minocin the brand would be the best when you restart. Diane, I think that Dr. Sinnott will probably use erythromycin for a young child. Perhaps, if 's dermatologist is interested in this protocol, he could take it over with help from Dr. Sinnot after Dr. Sinnot has gotten off to a good start. Guest guest
Has any one on the list heard about the reports of heart attacks especially in men from the result of taking erythromycin? I read about the report that researchers are spending too much money on antibiotic research is this also true?I am on a 10 day dose of amoxicillan for i got a tooth pulled yesterday.ugh.Predisone along with lupus has made my gums verry weak.I fear my silver fillings have ruined my teeth over the yrs along with causing me flareups of sickness?I am not on the protocol for the rheumy didnt like anything about it when I brought him the info.He put me on 7.5 mg pills weekly of MTX since May 13th to see what happens.I tell ya it ain't to much people except extra pain! I will continue to read & enjoy the list of grea8 people on here.Thanx. from Maine Re: rheumatic Digest Number 2613 On 9/16/04 1:43 PM, " Priest-Dailey, Diane M " <dmdailey@...> wrote: > One more thing, I forgot to ask, will they use minocin on ?
