Hi Peggy, well, I think I can honestly say that there is no

unexplained itching going on... bless ur heart! :)

I went down the list of 'symptoms' and cme up with a long list

of 'No's. Not a single one of them.

I seem to have had not a single recognisable symptom which is

totally freaky if this thing can sneak up so insidiuously and

without warning.

That was half of the battle yesterday, instead of being

told 'Symptom -> Cause -> Remedy', the symptom bit was missing and

my brain was like, 'no symptoms, so how can I have anything?'

But, two days into this 'new life' and things don't seem half as

grim. I can beat this!!

That's not much of a breakfast. Doesn't sound like you are getting

enough calories to keep you going.

Lucky you. I had ALL the symptoms but still NO doctor caught it.

I'd been hospitalized twice for chest pain and passing out, had a heart cath

done, the works.

Finally, my doctor asked if I'd ever been tested for Diabetes...

I have no idea how long I've had it, but I'd been to countless doctors over the

past few years trying to find out what was going on with me.

ALL the symptoms were there, but no one put 2+2 together.

It makes you wonder....What DO they teach in medical school ?

My gynecologist gave me a long name for the unexplained itching and irritation.

He prescribed cream and gave me a phamplet that read " medical science did not

know what it is or what caused it " . No where on that phamplet did it mention it

could be a side affect of Diabetes.

I have learned on my own that this is, indeed, one of the symptoms. And also

learned on my own that if I drink lots of water and avoid soft drinks, colas,

and control my diet, I don't have to suffer those symptoms.

Again...what DO they teach these doctors in medical school ???

So I'm looking at everything that could possibly be the

cause of " genital itching. " (The horrible yeast infection side

effect making me nuts.) And there was diabetes.

Good deal. I'd say, thank your lucky stars your docs caught you

BEFORE the symptoms kicked in!

Trust me, BGs over 200 are BAD ... and definitely count as " symptoms! "

I'm sure you can do it! Just the fact that you're looking into

what's going on proves that!

Isn't is a shame that we have to learn so much on our own? I'm in the

same boat with a medical situation I have.
