six month appointment

I went to the six month appointment today. I've lost 134lbs and am

down to 328. That's pretty good according to the doctor.

I got some blood work on Friday and my glucose is 78. That blows my

mind. It was 122 before surgery and 105 three months after surgery.

I have a copy of the picture they took of me on August 11, 2005. I'm

going to try to scan it tomorrow and then I'll get my camera back

from my cousin and take a today photo.

I asked my PA and she said popcorn was okay.

My dietician said I could replace my prescription prenatal vitamins

with an OTC version if I find one that's pretty similar. Any

thoughts? Walmart? Costco? Sam's?

I have three boxes, at least 200+ items, of 5X and 6X clothing if

anyone is that big or knows anyone who would want to buy some in

mass. Either that or it's going to Goodwill. Actually I should get

rid of my 4X and 3X stuff too.

The PA said I can expect to lose another 40lbs over the next six

months if I keep up my exercise and dieting. Cool.

Guess that's it. It's 100+ heat index in Grand Rapids, MI tonight so

the kids and I feel the need to go outside anyway. Have a great night!

Mike,

That is awesome! You are doing great! As for the vitamins, I use Centrum

Silver Complete chewable in berry flavor. I get them at my Commissary or

WalMart. Can't wait to see the photos!

Mike,

Great job!!! Keep up the hard work and you'll loose that 40 pounds

and more. I'm so happy for you that your sugar is under control now,

one less thing to worry about. I can understand about the heat

index...Buffalo must have a direct line to Grand Rapids...it's a 100+

here too.

Stay cool
