Guest guest
Three how big meals? Why only 1 protein per day? Doing milk? Drinking with meals? How much water? m new to group Hello my name is alicia. I just had my two month checkup with the Dr. I have only lost 26 lbs in two months. I see every one else post and have lost very much more. I eat three meals a day, multi vitamins, supplements, 1 protein shake, walk 15 mins three times per day. It just gets so fustrating. It reminds me of when I use to diet and no results. It seems to be about 3 lbs per week. Compared to others saying any where from 5 to 10 lbs a week. What am I doing wrong. Has anyone else had results like this. alicia.hernandez @ blueshieldca.com post op 082602 was 285 down to

Guest guest
Welcome to the Group, The first step I would think is to find out what kind and how big is the fibroid. There are so many options. That sucks you have to wait until May. Although at least here it is April. There is a saline sono that tells what is going on with the lining of your uterus. Like fibroids, what kind, polyps, etc. I wish you the best of luck, W.
Guest guest
With your symptom of heavy bleeding it is possible that your fibroid is submucousal (inside the uterine cavity). These can often be removed vaginally without an incision in an outpatient procedure called hysteroscopic resection. You will find many posts in the archives about this procedure. It can sometimes be combined with endometrial ablation. > Hi, > I am so glad I just discovered this chat. My internist told me a year > and a half ago that I had a small fibroid. Guest guest
Amber, my numbers are coming down but I have very little energy. Tom > Hi Tom. I'd be curious to know how your BS numbers react since you've started insulin. Also your energy level.

Hi Tom, Do you exercise any? When I spend the day reading/watching TV/doing crafts, etc, my energy level goes to zero. And it stays there until I start exercising again. hugs Eunice

Seems to be that way with or without Rx. He has some good days but many bad. Dr. wants him to exercise and he just can't force himself to do it. Where are your numbers usually? Do you exercise anyway? Amber
Guest guest
Hi ! Yeah my story is very close to yours, except that I couldn't stop vomiting and so I initially went to ER thinking I was sick. Turns out my BG was 1,289, and my first A1c was 9.2. My last A1c last month was 5.5. I was diagnosed March of last year. The whole thing is kinda of foggy now that I think back about it. I just thought I was tired and exhausted all of the time from the long work hours. That wasn't the case at all. Date: Sun, 27 Feb 2005 17:00:50 -0800 (PST) From: Subject: New to group, and diabetes! After telling the nurse my symptoms she tested my blood sugar and the meter maxed out at 480. So they take me right back from triage to a bed and I'm thinking that this isn't good. You go into the emergency room and there are about 30 or 40 people in there and you jump ahead of them all.... not a good sign. There they draw my blood and I'm at 760!
