Three how big meals? Why only 1 protein per day?

Doing milk? Drinking with meals? How much water?

Hello my name is alicia.

I just had my two month checkup with the Dr. I have only lost 26 lbs

in two months. I see every one else post and have lost very much

more. I eat three meals a day, multi vitamins, supplements, 1 protein

shake, walk 15 mins three times per day. It just gets so fustrating.

It reminds me of when I use to diet and no results. It seems to be

about 3 lbs per week. Compared to others saying any where from 5 to

10 lbs a week. What am I doing wrong. Has anyone else had results

like this.

hi alicia nice to meet you... i am 8 weeks out as well... you should

be eating six times a day from what my doctors and nutritionist tell

me remember we can only get in about two ounces per meal sounds to me

that you are not getting enough calories... when our new bodies dont

get enough calories it starts storing fats and then you loose less or

you can even gain... has your doctor told you how many calories you

should be getting in mine says that we should be getting up to 1000

calories a day.... i take my protein daily multi vitamins with iron

twice a day and my calcium.... i walk all the time and i have a time

when i excercise... remember if you arent getting enough calories in

you will burn everything you are putting in your body... make sure

that you are also drinking enough fluids amazing enough this helps

the weight loss as well drink crystal light drink water make sure you

get your needed amount i average a gallon a day i count every cup of

everything i drink all day long.... and i dont touch soda's at all i

was told we could do flat diet gingerale and in my mind i think i

cant drink it flat so i just wont drink it and i dont miss it at all

just like the decaf tea and coffee taste just as good to me as the

full leaded stuff.... i hope this helps you some if you ever want to

just talk please feel free to email me at...

Welcome Janet! You will find a very supportive " family " here, and help when

you need it. Hope that now that they know what is wrong with your

grandaughter, she can make some progress, and get the help she so desperately

needs. Take care!

Welcome to the Group,

The first step I would think is to find out what kind and how big is the

fibroid. There are so many options.

That sucks you have to wait until May. Although at least here it is April.

There is a saline sono that tells what is going on with the lining of your

uterus. Like fibroids, what kind, polyps, etc.

I wish you the best of luck,

W.

With your symptom of heavy bleeding it is possible that your fibroid

is submucousal (inside the uterine cavity). These can often be

removed vaginally without an incision in an outpatient procedure

called hysteroscopic resection. You will find many posts in the

archives about this procedure. It can sometimes be combined with

endometrial ablation.

your BS numbers react since you've started insulin.

Also your energy level.

Hi Tom,

Do you exercise any? When I spend the day reading/watching TV/doing crafts,

etc, my energy level goes to zero. And it stays there until I start

exercising again.

Bob's BS is still in the 300s. Seems to be that way with or without

Rx. He has some good days but many bad. Dr. wants him to exercise and

he just can't force himself to do it. Where are your numbers usually?

Do you exercise anyway?

Hi !

Yeah my story is very close to yours, except that I couldn't stop vomiting and

so I initially went to ER thinking I was sick. Turns out my BG was 1,289, and my

first A1c was 9.2. My last A1c last month was 5.5. I was diagnosed March of last

year. The whole thing is kinda of foggy now that I think back about it. I just

thought I was tired and exhausted all of the time from the long work hours. That

wasn't the case at all.

After telling the nurse my symptoms she tested my blood sugar and the meter

maxed out at 480. So they take me right back from triage to a bed and I'm

thinking that this isn't good. You go into the emergency room and there are

about 30 or 40 people in there and you jump ahead of them all.... not a good

sign. There they draw my blood and I'm at 760!
