Guest guest
She is in early adrenal fatigeu where cortisl and DHEA are both high. Thu=ings that might help would be Phosphatidyl Serie, Ashwaganda, sea salt, and vitmin C and B vitamins especially B12. Vitamin D would probably be helpful as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Val,,,I thought I remembered reading on sttm that hc was also good for high cortisol as it lowered the acth or something like that. has this idea been proven false? Im just curious about this > > She is in early adrenal fatigeu where cortisl and DHEA are both high. > Thu=ings that might help would be Phosphatidyl Serie, Ashwaganda, sea > salt, and vitmin C and B vitamins especially B12. Im just curious about this<< I am trying that and have been for three years now. While it DOES lower my cortils for a whiel, eventually the high AM cortils sneaks back in and I have to jiggle the dosage to keep the supressant effects. It is HARD ot juggle and I am not sure I would recommend this ot others. ALso you risk permanent supression of the adrnelas by supressing them this way, and it is just MUCH better to find the cause of the high cortiosl and try ot treat that. But if all else fails it si an option. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
thanks for the reply. thats interesting. Im so unsure of whether my cortisol is too high or too low. I have some sypmtoms of both. high glucose/bad cholesterol (high cortisol). erratic temps and falling bp upon standing (in am) ( low cortisol). even though I hear its worse to have low cortisol,,Im actually hoping my labs will come back low as it seems low cortisol is easier to treat with hc,,whereas its debatable with high cortisol > > >> Val,,,I thought I remembered reading on sttm that hc was also good > for high cortisol as it lowered the acth or something like that. has > this idea been proven false? Guest guest
Actually, it might be better if you are high since that is an early stage of adrenal fatigue, therefore, easier to correct. Once you start crashing it is much harder to get the body on track. Had I known about all this stuff when I was at my high cortisol stage I might have prevented my progression to Stage 7. This could be low thyroid >erratic temps and falling bp upon standing (in am) ( low cortisol) This is definitely low cortisol So my guess is low cortisol and low thyroid, like most here. Guest guest
youre probably right. my free t4 was below mid range although my tsh was good at 1.55 when I had my blood test done about a month ago. my doc didnt allow me to get my free t3 tested at the time. my temps only average between 96-97.9 my saliva labs will tell the tale if they ever get delivered! they were supposed to have arrived at diagnos tech 2 days ago > > Im so unsure of whether > > my cortisol is too high or too low.
