Guest guest
Edith, I bought a Pride (I think it was) for my mother. I spent the extra to get one that had the massage and heating element because she was always cold. I'm sure Flora will write also because I think she has one too. Brockman, who is on our Board of Directors and owns a durable medical supply store, said it's difficult to get insurance to pay for them unless nothing else will work. Guest guest
Edith, I just got a new lift chair from Pride Mobility Products Corp. I ordered on the net but they have a warehouse in Tampa so it was delivered in 2 days. I had one for 4 years, bought from Wards just before they went out of business. It was a 2 position recliner so not very good for napping . The only one I ever saw at the time so was so thankful to have it.Now the foot rest won't fold down as the chair rises up so I have to have force it down whenever I get up. My new one has 3 positions and doesn't lay flat but still will be comfortable to nap in.. I searched this site for 2 weeks as they have hundreds of chairs. I had one draw back..it had to go through a 30 inch door to the bedroom where I am set up with TV and my Webtv. I also would have liked a wall hugger but they were all too wide. You can't imagine this site... everything from petite to extra large and all mechanisms explained so well. also from economical to plush.. so try this site..you'll like it.. From one Fl. friend to another. blessings Jeanette
Guest guest
Edith, I have a Pride Lift chair. I got is sometime ago and I see it is no longer a model number that is listed on _www.pridemobility.com_ (http://www.pridemobility.com) . I find that I chose a chair that was to firm. I thought that getting a firm chair it would last longer. It did but its just uncomfortable. there where others in the Pride line that was softer but I got the firmer one. Items that I would of liked would of been a massager built in and a wall hugger chair. I think most of the chairs have the two 9 volt battery that will be useful when the electricity goes out.............Flora
