Guest guest
Any bmi over 40 qualifies you for gastric bypass.I too didn't " look " like I weighed 240,but I did and the fact of the matter is its not healthy .I'd say go for it,then do a tummy tuck.Thats what I did and I feel great. Guest guest
I have been reading up alot on this surgery and I am going to the doctor tuesday to get a physical and If you all think I am a candidate then I will put this idea in his head! I am 5 ft 2 inches tall, about 220 pds. But I don't look it, the only problem I have with my body is my tummy from my 4 kids, it hangs to the floor!!! My husband said I could get a tummy tuck next year, but before then I want to be my ideal body weight so that the surgery will have great results!! According to the BMI score I score a 40.2 which is high risk. And according to the ideal body weight thingamajiggy I am 100 pds. overweight. Does anyone think I could get it??? Also I believe I contracted a heart condition that runs in my family that the doctor is going to check for me.
