Hi Sonya,

Those shooting pains are fun, eh? I don't get them much anymore. It's

really crazy sitting talking to someone and all of a sudden you feel

one of those sharp zingers!

Glad to hear you're making good progress. Remember, sleepy is good at

this stage of the game! Get lots of rest!

Another thing I found odd yesterday is that the guy had to load me up

with a bunch of novocaine -- he was fising some root surface cavities

I'd developed -- and after he did, and as he worked, that shingly

nerve started zinging me. I meant to tell him, but every time it

happened, my mouth was full of tools and instruments, and eventually,

between that and the gas, I never got around to mentioning it. That

nerve is on my upper cheek, mainly, and my surgery was lower, so it's

gotta be the aftermath, still, of the dratted shingles. But it

illustrates, yet again, that nerves are funny things.

Sonya, WOW!! What great news all around. Sorry about the pain

though. At least it is a positive sign. I am having the lower

advanced and a genio also, so it was real encouraging to see your

post. Permanent nerve damage is probably my biggest fear. I can't

believe how fast things are moving for you. What a Christmas

present, ha? Fly high as much as you need to :) Take Care of

yourself and a healthy recovery wish to you...~~
