Guest guest
Ok, this is my first time being on this support group. I want to know if anyone out there can tell me how they cope with being so tired & achy feeling constantly. I have never woke up for a real long time feeling well rested. I have a hard time getting up in the morning. I know that is what fibro is but I need some kind of relief. I have tried so many differen meds. I am on Wellbutrin XL, Lyrica, Soma & tried pain killers. What works best please help anything???? Thank you kindly!
Guest guest
I found that when I could get a good night's sleep, then I didn't feel quite so bad during the day and the only way I could get the good night's sleep is with sleeping pills like Ambien CR or Rozerem. I haven't been able to try Lyrica, so I don't know how it helps, but when I was taking Vicodin regularly, my pain stayed around a tolerable 5. I hope that you find the answer that will work for you. Love and gentle hugs, Debi/So. Guest guest
Cyndi - It's so hard to tell you what will work for you because we are all individuals and what works for one might not work for others. Have you ever been on Cymbalta? It helps with pain as well as depression. Fatigue is my worst symptom, too. I currently take 100 mg. of Provigil a day to try to boost my energy level. I might be switching that soon to a stimulant, something for ADD. I don't have that, but have heard that those meds can help with brain fog and fatigue in FM patients. I see a psychiatrist for all my mood medications. I hope you find something that works for you soon. Jeanne in WI always tired & weak feeling Ok, this is my first time being on this support group.
