It's a matter of individuality. We all react differently. I have found that some of those things help me. Some help with blood glucose and nothing else. Others help with other things but not blood glucose. And some just disappear into me without any obvious reaction at all. With a few, like magnesium, I discovered years after the first trial that I was wasn't using nearly enough of the stuff to have an effect on me. And now that I have to take lots of calcium and actonel to build my bones, I need even larger amounts of magnesium -- but that is me only, and might not apply to others. There are mighty few shortcuts to controlling diabetes. We each have to do all the work over again to see how things work for us.
