Guest guest
Yes--I was more than he was. It had cleared a few years ago following treatment, but then he relapsed. So his reply was that big deal, it did that before. What I finally got him to understand was that although lower and higher viral loads haven't been correlated with the amount of liver damage being done (in other words a higher viral load may be causing less liver damage in someone that had a lot of damage at a lower viral load) when the virus is cleared the liver damage that is currently being done is virtually none. THEN he got it. Kathy Kathy Kathy, I am thrilled to learn of Denny's lab results. Excellent news and I know you both must be mucho encouraged and relieved.Hugs,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
Guest guest
They certainly should be. It could also be done by an oral surgeon probably. Or an endocrinologist. Or probably a bunch of other Docs that I haven't thought of. My diagnosis had been made with the Schirmer test, the dye test and the slit lamp. But I still will ask about having the biopsy done. Kathy Kathy If I were to get a biopsy of the salivary glands, who can do it? Do you have to go to a surgeon? The opthmalogist is pretty sure I have it as I really battle with dry eyes and I used to dehydrate quickly but am doing better getting fluids down. I have an ENT appt on Monday for my ear tubes and also have some kind of lesion in my right nostril that needs to be dealt with. It hasn't cleared up with the pred boost or the pred cream he gave me to use--are the salivary glands within an ENT scope of care? Thanks much,MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
Guest guest
I don't think it should be a sphincter problem because other times things are normal. Also there was the urine thing. Hopefully it's nothing major, but frankly I'm concerned about neurological things even though the MRI of my head was normal--it could be a peripheral thing. I'll keep you all posted. Kathy Kathy Kathy, I have never had the problem you are describing but it concerns me and I am glad you have a MD appt on Monday. Please don't forget to tell him about it. Could it be a sphincter problem? Keep us posted on what you find out. Hugs and prayers.MelindaPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com

Guest guest
Kathy, I am so sorry about Angel. I really don't know what to say, except that I hope you and Denny can rest in the thought that you gave her a life that she wouldn't have had. It is hard to deal with and you guys need to let yourselves grieve for a few days. I know your memories of her will be fond. Take care of each other. Hugs, Melinda
