Guest guest
You say you dose every 3 hours, so is 2 p.m. covered in that time frame? Do you have temp data? Does BP rise upon standing? Any recent labs? Barb > > The mornings are great for me. Guest guest
Have you had your adrenaline (epinephrine) levels checked? Mine were 1/2 of the low end of normal and my norepinephrine levels were on the low end of normal. Once I started Adrecor (made by NeuroScience) I started having much more energy during the day. Guest guest
I'll try to respond to everyone's suggestions...This is a mystery to me. My PB does rise when I stand. 121/77 to 130/78 108/79 to 132/79 I do not have any saliva/cortisol labs. But I did have a neuro-science lab tested in August and it showed my neuro transmitters low and DHEA/androgens very very high. However, I do have a problem with the neuro-science products because they have a lot of additives in them. Something in their GABBA product throws me into a serious anxiety/stimulant spell rather than relaxing me. I will need to research the precursors for neuro-transmitters and take the direct form of those amino acids. Please share if you have info... Val mentioned my thyroid dose is low. I assume people are happy on 75-100 mg of T3? I increased my T3 to 43.75 yesterday and didn't have time for a nap--I was EXHAUSTED by the evening and had a migraine. Multi-dosing (6.25 T3, and 5mg HC at a time) did help me last till 6pm. Tasia

Guest guest
I too was on T3 only. I agree with Val, you are still on a low dose. I was on 175mcg at one time. Now I am slowly switching back to Armour & after 4 weeks I am still on 75mcg with my 6 grains of Armour. I have been on 150mcg for 8 months and it si good for me there, but you raising it THAT fast may have simply crashed oyur adrenals where NONE got through to the cells. It must be raises slower than that how sleowly depends on the statte of your cortiosl and how much your adrenals can cover. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

My dosing suck up on me. I was taking T3-6.25mg about every 2 hrs, and 5mg HC every 3 hrs. Strangely enough, my temp has been a steady 98.6 for the last 2 days. I assume if my temp. moves too much today it would be a sign to ease off the T3. I won't be around till evening to reply... Tasia

Are you sure you're done with conversion issues? Still on HC? What kind of differences do you notice when you add Amour? I agree with both you and Val about my dose. I am still hypo. Gained 25lbs of hypo belly in 2 months, dry skin, no nails, hair loss, morning foot pain, stiff muscles, carpel tunnel...I'm sure every one is familiar with the list Tasia
Guest guest
I am learning that it is much harder to go from Cytomel to Armour then from Armour to Cytomel. The first week that I added the 6gr of Armour I only reduced the Cytomel by 25mcg. Over the next 3 weeks I reduced the T3 another 50mcg. I seem to be kinda stuck at this dose & may evne need to raise it now that the HC is starting to work. I am really winging it here. :-) Your hypo symptoms sound just like mine. I had them all & still do most of them. The first thing to get better was the foot pain. All I can say is pay attention to what Val says. I should have listened to her a year ago when she told me to do the Saliva test. I finally tested last month & got on HC. I am beginning to see some improvment finally. Guest guest
I forgot to mention that since I became hypo in May of 06 I have gained 52 lbs. I believe that will be the last symptom to be resolved but I refuse to give up. Gale > > > > I too was on T3 only. I agree with Val, you are still on a low dose. > > I was on 175mcg at one time.
