Guest guest
, prior to surgery we are urged to lose weight as it makes the surgery easier, so many do lose prior to surgery. I lost 7# in 10 months, and that was the hardest weight I ever lost, so in the stats: 282pre-op/275surg/240/140 : so for me the 1st is the weight when I first decided to have the surgery, 2nd is the weight the day of surgery, 3rd is current weight, and 4th is goal weight. BTW, I had to ask too. I have a friend who lost 40# prior to surgery, and after the 1st month she'd lost I think 30#. I keep telling her to say she's lost 70#. She really deserves the credit losing that much weight prior to surgery.
