The minocin I am taking doesn't look like the photo.

mine is a capsule half cream and half dark gray with

printed RX696 on both half and is not transparent. Why

don't you check with a pharmacist?

Hi Jon,

You show the original pelletized Minocin in green capsules made by Lederle.

Over the years, the technology has been sold to other manufacturers who

can use any color

they please.Stiefel in Canada uses blue and yellow.

To test a capsule, open it and look whether there are tiny granules

instead of a powder.

If there are granules you got the right stuff.

Lucy,

Two questions:

1) Does the Canadian minocycline work for you?

2) Who is the manufacturer?

In the USA, minocycline is also relative inexpensive. It is the brand

name Minocin that is priced out of sight.

Sincerely, Harald

Hi Lucy;

Wyeth bought our Lederly here in Canada. It is now the minocin brand

that you want.I use the powdered one and it works just as well as the

pelleted.Ypur SD will very likely to get worse for several months as the

mino takes time to kick in.On the other hand you could be herxing which

has the same symptoms as the disease and can also hit you in places you

would never believe.I am on 3 antibiotics,am in remission but still

herxing. Lynne G/SD

Thank you, Harold and Cooky. With the news yesterday about US rejecting

Canadian drugs - I did not see the entire report on tv as I came in at the end

- but my question is whether this will affect our prescriptions from there?

Going home at noon from work and get my RX to quickly fax.

I got this when we were all adding to Harold's web site.

I got 100 caps of 100mgms for $147.01 including shipping. It came in 3 days.

I was so pleasantly surprised. I just sent for Diflucan which is also pricy.

I am waiting for it to come in the mail.

I have medicare insurance in the US but I can only get a certain amount

before paying out of pocket. I figure I can get this in Canada and leave

more room for other drugs that I need right away.

Harold's web site has other places you can order.

Hi ;

I saw the write up in the Montreal Gazette about this mess.Seems

that the drug companies spent 172million dollars lobbying people in

Washington to vote against it.Can you imagine how low the cost of drugs

would be without this or their big time advertising. Lynne G./SD
