Guest guest
, I must say that I take hydrocodone. It not only helps with the pain, but also somehow gives me a little energy. It should knock me out because it is a narcotic. It has always done the opposite with me. I don't understand it. It might not work for everyone like that though. And I know alot of docs wont prescribe it. It is unfortunately, the only thing I can think that helps me with the exhuastion. take care, Debra V. Guest guest
You had a stressful day. I don't think anything but a good nights sleep can help the exhaustion. I can sometimes 'nip' it by taking a short walk in the fresh air IF I'm not in too much pain OR the weather isn't nasty. Earlier today I walked to the local 'Starbucks' and had a de-caf lo-fat mocha grande with hazelnut. Our weather has been rainy for the past several days, and so while it was only 'misting', I took my walk. I was going 'stir crazy'. I did feel better when I got home. My feet and legs have been swelling lately. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday, and will see if I can get some water pills. I know all my tests for everything were good, but I hate being swollen and don't think water pills will hurt if I don't over-do them. I need to do my laundry desperately but it is a walk up and down stairs carrying it all, as I live in an apartment complex and the laundry room is difficult for me to get to at times. Being swollen makes it even worse. It DID go down a bit after my walk. I hope you don't read this till tomorrow, as I'm really hoping you are sleeping well right now. Peace and Love Caroline I'm so exhausted right now... aside from taking a nap or going to bed, does anyone know how to alleviate this? Or is this just one of those things like some types of pain, nothing helps? Guest guest
Hi Caroline & , I can understand about being too tired to do anything. Today I was but ended up doing most of the laundry since my husband was tired. Fresh air walks do help me perk up. So does being on the computer first thing in the morning. Also know about being stir crazy since I was without a car most of the past 2 weeks. Hope your doctor does give you a water pill. I take one for another problem but it makes me pee every hour. Will call my doctor next week and ask for a lower dose of the HCTZ I am on. Currently take 50mg one. soft hugs, Debbie J > GET FREE SMILEYS FOR YOUR IM & EMAIL - Learn more at http://www.crawler.com/smileys > Works with AIM®, MSN® Messenger, Yahoo!® Messenger, ICQ®, Google Talk™ and most webmails >
Guest guest
Sometimes you just have to rest. If taking a nap helps you go on for the rest of the day, then that's what you should do, in my opinion.
