Guest guest
After 3 days on the pro-biotic supplement " Lactinex " , my stools have changed to an extremely dark brown almost greyish color. Stools are well formed with no noticable foul odor. Is this normal? Anyone else experienced the same? Generally, i feel totally run down right now...almost like im trapped in a movie running in slow motion. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I am on Shaklee probiotics. It has 3 incapsulations, so they promiss to deliver the live organisms to the right place without getting damaged by stomack acid etc. It's expensive but worth itc. At www.shaklee.com you will need to find the closest to your location distributor. I trust the company, but you may check different distributors if you need knowledge or they will refer you to an expert. Hope to hear form somebody else about the fish as well. > > I have two questions: > > What is a good pro-biotic for a child to take? Guest guest
The bowel culture of very young children can be up to 95% Bifidobacteria, according to scientific data. This does not occur from eating the probiotic but fom growing it in- situ in the gut. Duncan > > > > a, > > > > I take Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics Plus. It is VERY different from > other > > probiotics. Guest guest
Hi Ute, Thanks to both you and Diane for the good advise. I have one other quick question to the group: it anyone working with a below normal body temp. I went to a physician recently on another issues and noted that my body temp was below normal and then went my GP and it was below normal again. So, I started tracking it and it never hits 98..6 anyone - always lower. Is this common with rheumatic issues. Thanks, Kathy

Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I don't know about lower body temp has anything to do with autoimmune diseases but mine usually registers around 96.8 degrees. So when the thermometer reads 99+ degrees I call the doctor. Guest guest
My temps have been between 96 - 97 degrees for years. My Mother also runs a low temp; when we reach 98.6 we are usually running low grade fevers. I always assumed it was related to hypothyroidism. I did run a low grade fever for a few years (2004-2006) that was finally associated with Lyme's Disease so I've been all over the place with temperatures. That led me to discovery about adrenals. A lot of times the adrenals are shot and that drains the thyroid. So you may want to look into boosting adrenal function. You might also want to check out the Balch's book Prescription for Nutritional Healing to find foods to eat and avoid for hypothyroidism. Just FYI, I learned a few years ago that a good way to see if your adrenals are weak is to look at your fingerprints. If you can't see a good print then working on strengthening the adrenals is a good get. Mine got to the point where I had to be fingerprinted for a job and they couldn't get a good print. They are better now. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Dear : As far as adrenal support, go to www.healthline.cc to reach the website of Marshall, PhD. On the home page is a toll free number you can call to get more information about his Adrenal Support product. Dr. Marshall claims his nanotechnology products are superior for many reasons. On occasion, I do listen to his radio broadcast. Good luck!
