Guest guest
I just ordered one online at _www.AmericanMedical-ID.com_ (http://www.AmericanMedical-ID.com) I paid $38 (for stainless steel bracelet.) I paid an extra $7 to have it done next day rather than 2 to 3 weeks, and $6 for shipping. No cost to engrave. I had the front and back engraved because there was so much to put on it! On the front I had: Dana Lynn Colan In emergency call KSSF (650)742-2000 Ask for Bariatric Surgeon on call On the back it will say: Roux-En-Y gastric bypass No NG tube, use endoscope No NSAIDS.No Aspirin No Aspirin derivatives Dana In a message dated 7/25/2006 8:47:03 PM Pacific Standard Time, Robyn@... writes: Medic Alert bracelets are a good idea for weight loss surgery people for life since our pouch's could be punctured if we are rendered unconscious or mute and need emergency medical care and our surgery is unknown to an ER doctor or paramedic. There are many sites out there that sell the beaded Medi Alert bracelets but an ER doctor friend advises NOT to jazz up a medic alert bracelet, lest a paramedic overlook it as costume jewelry rather than the purpose intended. A good idea might be wear one as a medallion around the neck and also keeping a Medic Alert card attached to your drivers license, passport or primary picture ID. www.medicalert.www.medicwww.medicalerwww. www.laurenshope.www. www.medicassist.www.medic www.gastricbypassfawww.gastrwww.gastricbypaswww.ga Engraving suggestions: Your Name Roux-en-Y No Blind NG Tube Use Endoscopy No NSAIDS Allergies

Guest guest
One thing I thought of is that I put my blood type on the front of the dog tag with my name, all the other info was able to fit on the back........Just a thought for anybody else getting one.
