Guest guest
Hi all, Well, no pain or flares yet - a little bit of aches and stuff but no flares - no sensitivity to noise or smell. I do believe that my fibro has been caused by a food intolerance gone wild. And since I've become gluten free, my symptoms have lessened more and more each day. I imagine that it will take a little while longer to get completely back to normal - but I've apparantly had this gluten intolerance since birth and after almost 55 years, I have a lot of damage to undo. But for me my fibro is slowly but surely going away - all because of eliminating wheat from my diet. I take an occasional soma but no OTC meds whatsoever. I have resumed my 2-3 mile walks and am finally able to look forward to a future without being disabled. I can only hope that others in this group can one day find their own way out of the fibro maze. Because right now, there is no pill or magic elixer to cure it. The only change can come about through your diet and supplements - not one prescription or 25. Pills do not work at all with this disorder!!!!!! They can help mask the pain but they will not remove the cause - the root problem of the fibro - comes down to your diet. Period. Wishing everyone the best.
