Guest guest
Hi , thank you for the kind words. But... Yep, I went to the pulmonary doctor yesterday and it is a tumor in the left lung and he says it is malignant (sp?). They took a TB test and some other stuff. Within the next two weeks they will do a bronchoscopy(sp?) and do the biopsy then. I asked him if the bronchoscopy will irritate the nose canal any as my nose is always in a mild flare all the time. He said it shouldn't. I liked him, he took the time to explain everything, I appreciate that very much. So there it is, as you all can imagine I'm not in a very talkative mood so I'm gonna close for now. Gotta get some rest I have to start getting in shape for my Walk For Life this weekend. Two miles! and I haven't even walked a block to get in shape-can you say stupid nancie stupid nancie. Thank you all for your prayers-GOD has got to have some great plans for me I can tell. --- Woods wrote: > Oh Nancie, > I just read this one and I will say a lot of prayers > for you my friend. > Please let us know when you find out what the scan > reveals. Guest guest
: So sorry to hear about your test results. Did they already do a biopsy to determine it was malignant and if so are they repeating it again as you had mentioned? We all have to deal with so much with this disease, it must be so hard to find an additional problem My prayers are focusing on God pulling off one of his special miracles for you. Everyone in this group is so special that certainly with all of us praying, maybe he'll move a little quicker on this. Hang in there and try not to let the mental part of it get to you until you know what the situation is exactly, then set a plan of action and keep focusing on it. Keep us up on everything because we all care. Scream and vent here if you need to get rid of negative energy. We will help you focus on the positive. Remember God loves you and he does have great plans for you. Have a nice time on your walk although I'm sure it will be challenging. How wonderful you're doing this even with all you have been dealing with. Sending a hug from God and myself to help you get through this very difficult time. nancie legge wrote: Hi , thank you for the kind words. But... Guest guest
Hi Heidi, Bob gave me the messaage that you called the other morning. Sorry I missed your call, I was being a slug in bed. Well, I just got off the phone with the doctor and the biopsy shows it is malignant tumor. They will set-up the pulmonary testing to see how much surgery my lungs can withstand and then set-up an appoitment with the surgeon so we can discuss the options I have. So don't know anything more than it is malignant lung cancer. Well LORD I know you won't give me more than I can handle, wow he MUST think I'm as strong as a horse these days! Thank you Heidi for thinking of me, that is so kind of you to call like you do. It helps to know there are others to give us all support in time of need. Right now I gotta figure out how to pay for all of this. Yep, I have insurance and all but it doesn't pay for 100 % of it. I have a friend at church that was just diagnosed with renal cell cancer. She had it 6 years ago and lost her kidney to it. But now they are telling her it is pretty much terminal. God be with us all. Guest guest
Hello Nancie I was just reading about your diagnoses and my heart goes out to you if you or any one else who reads this e mail could PLEASE send me Nancie's phone number I have a cell phone and I buy the calling cards now and I would love so much to call Nancie and Pray with her. Nancie believe and trust in him even when times are hard he's still with you. I know sometimes we think he forgot about us but trust me he's still with us all that's why we have each other in the RP group. Believe and trust in his word Nancie. My favorite scripture today for you is Greater is HE that is within you then he that is within the world. We can make it through this thing and we can do it together. To God be the Glory for all he's done for us and is about to do for us all. Love Gail

All our lives are so fragile and can be so easily destroyed as we have found out. I will pray for you each day that God finds a cure for your lungs. I truly believe God doesn't always give us each thing we experience, but that he will carry us and be there for us when things go wrong. We all love you and are here for you. Wish we could all put our arms around you and comfort you as you go through this. Guest guest
Hi Nancie: Ran across this again and thought it might bring you some comfort during this most difficult time. Fill my cup, Lord I hold it up to you with outstretched hands. My heart parched and thristing for your living water. Fill my cup with your love, Lord Help me to feel your hands holding mine. Feel your arms around me. Feel your love empowering me. Fill me with quietness and encouragement and trust Help me to live for you when trials, difficulties, And storms hit me and those I love so deeply, Help me not to give up when giving up seems easier.. Help me to trust you when I don't feel like trusting anymore. When I know pain, fill my cup with prayer. Teach me the secrets of service and surrender. Fil my cup, Lord, I lift it up to you. Lift me up to do your will with love and sacrifice. Never forgetting what you sacrificed for me-- Your son, My Messiah, My Lord Jesus Christ Hope this helps a little Love ya,

Believe me I have felt like screaming and cussing but will hold off until I know what I'm in store for. I've had to deal with breast, uterine and lymphoma cancers before so it's not like I don't have a clue what is ahead. But when I got the news that it was malignant I just wanted to scream HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU THINK I CAN TAKE?????????? But it was my daughter and her faith that brought me back to reality. Guest guest
Nancie, It sounds like you have a terrific support system at home so I just know you are going to be around to see your daughter graduate and ordained, plus some. Just remember to try very hard to keep that stress level down as much as you can (easier said than done, I know) and remember we are all here for you, anytime, night or day if you need to talk or cry or whatever you need, we're here. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day, >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> , Thank you for your words and advice. She is going to make one good minister. I just hope I can be there to see her graduate and ordained. Nancie
