Guest guest
Please read this and pass it on. I know 34 million seems like alot of money, but compared to the billions we are spending on the war, it's a pitance. We can help replace this money that was cut and bring health care to women and children around the world. In the 21st century no woman should be dying in childbirth,. No child should starve to death, and any new Hiv case contributes to the further spread of a disease that we should easily be able to avoid with education through proper healthcare. I know that the forward does seem to have a somewhat political slant, but it is just a statement of the facts. I'm not debating the political points, as this is obviously a budget cut that can be made up by those of us who can afford to give a little something to make up the cuts. Heck if we can even get a million women to give 34 bucks it would completely cover the cut. But any amount will help. Sorry to the autoimmune group if this steps over our no-politics rule I'll go to my corner, but I felt that the health issues at stake overrode the politics of the message.
