By now you all know that the SPF will be voting on the

grant recipients this Sunday. I obviously hit the

wrong button when I choose who to send it to.

Nonetheless, please understand that the Board will not

be voting based on little summaries by me. Our

Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) has reviewed all of

the proposals and ranked them. As a matter of

corporate law, the Board must make the ultimate

decision. We base it on the SAB's decisions.

Further, the complete top ranked proposals (minus

footnotes) were sent out to each Board member over a

week ago.

We will not be able to announce the winner until they

respond back to us agreeing to accept the grant. I

know of a case where the " winner " was not able to

accept. The runner up then got the grant.) It would

look awful if we announced the wrong winners.

We will announce the moment that we hear back

positively for each of the winners. Stay tuned...
