Guest guest
- I also like to quilt and tend to try to do too much at one time. That "learning how to pace yourself" is sure is a tough concept to grasp !! Barbarafishthatsmiles@... wrote: i worked n quilt last nioght for three straight hours. Guest guest
, How do we learn to pace ourselves? I think I do too much to try to prove that I am not any different than before RSD and I am not slowing down. It's ridiculus for us to keep pushing but I guess that's what keeps us going. By the way FYI the psychologist told me that Type A personalities are more apt to get RSD. Isn't that interesting. Well gotta go get ready for work. Talk to all of you later. Love ya, Debbie From Louisiana PS I feel sooooooooooooo lucky to have all of you as a family. BARBARA TORREY wrote: - I also like to quilt and tend to try to do too much at one time. I think I do too much to try to prove that I am not any different than before RSD and I am not slowing down. I've yet to have mastered the whole " slowing down " thing. I DO try and take a little at a time. Perhaps do a little housework then stop, fold laundry then stop but days like today when I have SO much to do, I know I'm going to pay tomorrow because I simply dont have time to stop. UGH! Guess I'll take advantage of my therapists deep tissue rub today LOL! Welcome to the family ! HUGS Donna
