Guest guest Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 sorry you didn't have a good doctor visit. i wish drs. would go through this pain for a week. bet they would change their minds about pain meds. did he say why he was cutting your mes down. how much do you have left in bottle. if you had too many then he thiks that you really didn't need them and so cut meds back. sometimes you cannpt win. too much meds they call you druggie. too little meds then they say oh the pain isn't that bad. i like it when they say you have to deal with the pain. you do not expect me to help you do you. i say this would be nice. hope you are feelig a little better today. hugs cathy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess I hadn't thought of the doctor thinking I really don't need the meds if I still had pills left. You are right when you say you can't win. I just still don't understand rsd and why things happen to us like this. doctors should realize how much pain we all endure 24/7 but they don't. i think he made a big deal about cutting down on the narcotics because i am very depressed and because of the meds I'm taking for depression, he thinks i might be suicidal. he said he has to talk to my shrink about that. we all complain about our pain but considering what you have to go through everyday battling cancer as well as rsd i get my strength from you to keep on living as you are an inspiration for me to take one day at a time and enjoy life. you are a wonderful person. thanks i hope you are feeling better today Stacey NYC Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
