Hi group;

'INFO FOR THE VETERANS'

I want to let the Vet's and their caregivers know that there is groups of

people who will help you obtain medical equipment if you need it. Maybe they

will help with other things for the Vet's also. The name of one group is

" The Cooties " . Truly I'm not kidding. I think another group is called " The

Trench Rats " . I believe there is more but I don't know what they call

themselves. Has anybody else heard of these organizations and what they do?

I was informed of them when I wanted the Nursing Home to get a shower chair

for mother to use at the YMCA. I was then told the State can not have or

lend there property outside of the Nursing Home. So of course I asked the

" Y " ,,,and they didn't have enough money... I did write a letter to the

Local Auxiliary President. So far no answer. But in the route of doing all

of this I was told of these two little known organizations. I was led to

believe they are all over in every state. They do not advertise, and are

only known by word of mouth. OK, Go a head, you can consider me mouthy!
