Dear Joy,

Iam very sorry to hear about your Mother .I will keep you in my

thoughts and prayers . I am also wishing for your sucess at the wls

you are about to prepare for .

1st the low fat diet that you are instucted to follow is so your

liver may shrink making it easier for the sugeon to work on you .

2nd It's always better to sip slowly to avoid that " overly full

feeling " if you chug anything you run the risk of bringing it right

back up . Vomitting is no fun at all !!!!

In advance Happy Birhtday and " HAPPY NEW BIRTHDAY "

I hope you have a blessed day too

Best wishes , and be well Patty

Joy,

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Diabetes is a scary

thing, all the more confirmation for me that this the

right thing.

I wish you all the best and a very happy birthday in

Hi Joy!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom!! Your in m prayers.

As for the questions:

The liver shrinking diet is when you drink this stuff that helps shrink your

liver so that the doctors can move around it to do the surgery. I had to do this

two days before surgery.

Yes it is important tht you sip. The water will make you sick if you drink it

too fast. It still can if your not careful and i am 6 mo. out.

Best WIshes!!!!

complications from diabetes.

I have a surgery date Sept 14th. My birthday is Sept 3rd so it my

birthday gift to myself. I have a couple of questions

1. what is a liver shrinking diet?

2. Do you get sick if you drink too much water to fast or is it

really necessary to take small sips?

Have a Blessed Day

Joy
