Guest guest
Testical Vericocele I've heard of this type of thing but not in EDSers. did have a hemangioma (blood vessel filled fatty tumor on the bottom of her foot). After asking many questions about it, I found out that many EDSers have experienced this type of tumor or similar tumors with blood vessels in them. Guest guest
Hi Carole, This is C that was discussing the vericocele. From now on I'll sign . I know it can get confusing. Anyway, my oldest boy had this at age 11 and he's now 27. I know he eats red colored foods and consumes iodized salt. I don't know if he eats shell fish. But anyway, he never had another problem. I just made sure he knows to not get the dye again for tests. I will call him and talk to him about all this again. I was just wondering about the vericocele being EDS related, since it is a large group of worm like viens that don't belong where they are found. Thank you for your concern. :>) Testical Vericocele H, This is serious, your son maybe allergic to iodine, all shellfish and certain red dyes. I too have this but have not made an EDS connection. I am the only one in my family so far that has this. I carry an EPI-pen around with me. This is incase I go into to shock from accidental ingestion of the dye. Any dye used in CT scans or other X-rays or MRIs will cause a reaction and possible shock. Many of the sites out there will tell you there is no connection but I say there is and many of the ER doctors will say they find many with the allergy to shellfish and iodine and certain red dyes. Write me if you have any questions on this. Love Whole Bunches of The Fun of Being Sensitive, Carole
