Guest guest
your another one that do not think spoke to before so if not hello for what think is first time. Have first question which is are you from Texas? Just going by your email address. Anyway, I have rsd and very severe Fibro and wonder if you know anything about fibro and the symptoms? I didn't want to tell you all about it if you already know so if interested let me know, okay. Sure this is all very frustrating to you and just as thought fibro doesn't feel to me like rsd. s Momma JoAnn RSD vs Fibro > Hi everyone! I have had a diagnosis of RSD for 7 months now > following an ankle sprain. Guest guest
I've had 2 neurologists and my family doc all diagnosis and confirm> the diagnosis of RSD and now I feel like I've really been thrown for> a loop and it hurts!!! , It drives a person nuts having two or more say "yes" and another "no." I've left doctor offices more than once and started crying. Here's what my husband said: who are you going to believe, the pain doc & your podiatrist, or someone that looked at you for 5 minutes and probably doesn't even know that much about RSD?" He was a rheumatologist. When my podiatrist wanted to send me to one for a different reason, I said "no way" to that guy! She got me a woman who did know RSD and was the one that diagnosed me with fibromyalgia alongside the RSD. The one that did the nerve conduction study said since it hadn't spread in a year it wasn't RSD. Where he ever got that information I do not know! But it still upset me, knowing he had no basis for it. I know others on here have been upset for the same reason. Love, N. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi , You certainly aren't the first, and unfortunately will not be the last, to have different Drs diagnose different things... I believe that a LOT of us here who have RSD also have Fibro. I don't know what the correlation is, but it seems there is one. I'm really glad to hear that your Dr. is going ahead with the block anyway.. just in case it is RSD. Hugs, Jo

I would come home and cry, I just wanted to know what I had and how to deal with it. Lin
