I'm sure the Doc will go over all that, hope you take a list with you.

The legs and to a lesser extent the lower arms are the areas most likely to be initially affected.

Let us know how it goes.

Hugs,

Kathy

new problems for me

Okay I got my test results from the doppler tests on my legs. I have minimal stenotic disease. Question for you medical minds now - if its showing up in my legs does this mean its doing this in my whole body??

Dr. Garrett talked to my primary (Dr. Ring) yesterday and he wants to see me stat. Dr. is still concerned because my legs start hurting so bad after I walk short distances. So off to Dr. Ring this afternoon.

I also need to talk to Dr. Ring about my allergies, I haven't had this much trouble in years, which in turn is really popping my asthma up. This strong south wind isn't helping me either. lol

I looked at one site that had Merrell shoes & they had no wide

width. Was it just that site, or does Merrell not make wide shoes?

didn't see any of the ones I have, including those I just got, but

they do have a dealer locator, so maybe there's a place near you

where you could see them. They didn't even have any clogs showing on

the site and they have a gazillion different versions of those.

,

Ours are (90 days by mail) $10, $40, & $80. Sometimes one order is

over $200. It stretches the budget. What would it be without

insurance? I shudder to think. I can't possibly stop working as

long as I can crawl to the office - we'd have to stop meds if I did.

LOL--well, my feet haven't spread, but I don't know about the " not

even " part. After all I'm about 40 pounds heavier than when I

graduated.

Kathy

> Wow, Kathy, you defied all probabilities...not even your feet

spread in mid-life. I also used to have VERY narrow feet but in

recent years, my feet have spread (I was a 4A when I came out of

high schoool) so that some medium widths are comfortable...all

depends on brand. I think also that living in a warm climate for

the last 18 years has made a difference...wearing all those casual

shoes makes a difference. I'm now a 10 -10 1/2 Medium.

are all the same length and way longer than her big toe. lol My feet

are wide at the front and really narrow at the heels, with the high

arches. Remember those old black/white track shoes - they fit me

perfectly. lol

My one pair of Merrell's are sandals, and they are the kind I can

wear in the water, etc. I think they have some that resemble

birkenstocks. The other Merrells I have are clogs and extremely

comfortable. They don't have any really dressy types, though.

Kathy

> Kathy, do the Merrell sandals have sort of the same look as the

Burk(can't even thing of the name) but you know what I mean. I'm

like , I have so much numbness in my toes and feet and I have so

few shoes that I can even wear now. I have to have surgery done this

summer and see ifr I can get some of the hammer toes straigtened out

and take care of the bunion. I've probably already left it to the

point that they'll have to put in screws and a plate to straighten

the bones.
