Guest guest
For Lynne, and others in similar situations. It is uncanny how often I remember something Tracie has written that speaks in a way nothing else does. I have saved many of Tracie's messages with titles that help me find the one I want. Although sometimes I have to open & read every one to find what I want! Anyway, here is another Tracie excerpt: when anger runs into anger, it generates more momentum. The momentum that is needed by all right now, is one of loving compassion. It truly is amazing how healing this can be. I have some thoughts on this subject also, but I don't think I can beat a Tracie-ism, so I'll save mine for later. A Tracie fan, Rose Re: Kids and marriage we can't enjoy the wedding, b/c you see, we weren't invited. Lynne, don't get me wrong, I know that not being invited to the wedding is horrible, and sad. My point is this-- even tho you can't enjoy the wedding, embrace their marriage- as much as they will allow. Even if the two of them can't allow you to be a part of their day-- you'll still be a part of their life. It will mean that you and your husband (and I do understand the anger and the need to protect and defend our husbands) will have to put aside your hurt and anger-- because to carry it into the future will only help to create a future generation that knows how to hate instead of how to love.
