What is carna asada meat anyway? a Carne asada is really thin slices of flank steak, I think, which is sometimes marinated and grilled quickly cause it cooks fast, about the size of half a dinner plate after it's cooked and 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. It's used a lot by hispanics here (thus the name, Carne [meat] Asada [roasted] or Roasted Meat). They cook it up and serve it with salsa, guacamole, tortillas, sour cream, etc. Everything but the tortilla for me, please! Yum! _________________________________________________
Guest guest
Is it like sandwich steak meat? Does it come frozen in a box or do you buy it in the steak section of the meat department? -- Re: Day 2 Good going Kari on the pound down. We can hit 100 lbs. I just know we can. Guest guest
Oh, ok, thanks, but kari said it comes out to the size of half a dinner plate. London broil doesn't do that. Oh i bet london broil is good with salsa and sour cream on it. I will have to try it. -- Re: Day 2 flank steak is london broil the best way to cut it thin is to freeze it and cut it frozen catherinePlease visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengersYou will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. To contact any of the the list moderators, you can email them at: (jocee131@...)Kari (kari@...)Norma (norwood@...)JJ (cybercat1@...)Dianne (lambert1@...)
