You're a human, just like the rest of us, that needs to lose weight for a better qualify of life. I am so sad you had to go through this, but work with the doctor's office, to let insurance know all medical conditions that you have that could sway them. Make sure the insurance knows all attempts you've made to lose weight in the past. My insurance made me attend a 6 month weight clinic first before they'd even pay for a consultation with the surgeon. Ask questions as to what you can do to help your case. You're not a crab, just someone that really wants to feel better, be healthier, that's had a setback. Do enjoy Palm Springs! I am envious of that!
