Well, I am on 35 mg and it is still is not enough for me, plus you are male

so you will probably have to increase a lot. I am just going to keep

increasing until I get the temps better.

I tried a different HC cream last night and it seemed to help. Immediately

felt warm in my stomach and then slept better than I have in two weeks.

Today my temps were much better. I hope I can repeat the same results

tonight.

Re: BP high

Thanks Val and thanks for the encouraging words from earlier.

The GI quieted down some from earlier in the day but its rumbling now.

I was literally falling asleep at lunch but woke up 15 mins into a

nap, sweating and panicky like I do at night some times. I've been

anxious generally. I know that all of this points to low cortisol

still and that the 1/8 grain increase must be contributing, I just

don't know how to get where I need to be with the cortisol. Cream

seems to be part of the answer for me, but I also seem to be headed

for higher doses than the 32.5mg than I'm on now.

I think the brand DOES matter as far as absorption based on what else is in

there and the delivery system. I was using Cortaid 12 hr because it had less

toxic stuff in it. I switched to Sheffield brand and even though it has

things I do not like (propylparaben, methylparaben, mineral oil) it does

seem to work much better. When I put it on my stomach I can feel an instant

warming (not sure if that is the camphor in it?) and it seems that the last

two nights have been better...did not wake up as early with the bad hunger

like I had been for the past two weeks. Not sure if I will stick with this

brand or not, but the Cortaid 12 hour was the wrong choice. Maybe regular

cortaid would have been better. Ironically, the Cortaid was the most

expensive and the one I have now was $1 for .5 oz at the dollar store.

Re: BP high

Using cream at night continues to help me sleep through the night -

slept from 11:30 until 6:30 without waking up once and was actually

able to fall back to sleep until 8:30AM. I'm still having a real hard

time getting moving even after so much sleep so I'm blaming that on

either still too low cortisol and/or being very hypo still.

Does the brand of cream matter if it's all 1% cream? I'm using

Rite-Aid brand cream that has some moisturizer in it.

Since we're off the ramp-up schedule at this point, are you adding to

your earlier doses first, 2.5mg at a time?
