Guest guest
-sorry, that was unfair of me not to explain why i wouldn't go through with it again...i guess i had no idea what i was getting myself into...my reason for having surgery was to correct my alignment...i also wear braces...i did have an overbite but that's not why i wanted the surgery...i've been clenching my teeth for years in my sleep and as a result my jaw throbes in the morning...to my disappointment i still clench...i had upper, lower and chin work...it's been over 2 months since my operation...still have to pop the pain relievers a couple of times a day...when i look in the mirror i hate the way i look...my lips have almost completely disappeared...gawd i hope that changes...my chin and bottom lip are still numb, still can't chew very well....i guess i thought i would heal a lot quicker...i hope things improve for me...sorry to ramble on....so i still clench my teeth, i would not go thru the surgery again for all the tea in china...this is just my opinion...i'm very happy for those who come out of this with wonderful results...i didn't....i wish i had of asked more questions. -- In orthognathicsurgerysupport , michaeljharvey <no_reply@y...> wrote: > Hey newgurl, > > Maybe you could explain to us why you wouldn't go through with it > again??
