Guest guest Posted September 28, 2004 Report Share Posted September 28, 2004 I tend to yawn a lot now, without being tired, and with O2 sats at 96% and higher. This doesn't help me when I am trying to teach patients and families in the hospital where I work. Is this something that happens to others here? I have slowed speech, hoarse speech, quiet speech (which my wife is so thankful for), and am developing more swallowing issues, so, dysarthria and dysphagia? I am thinking of printing up a card for my patient/families that states: I am neither tired nor bored, I am only yawning due to my disease progression.
