Had someone over who muscle tested literally everything in my kitchen. It took hours and we still couldn't really figure anything out. Then one day I was reading on a new (to me) yahoo list called Failsafe, where they were discussing sensitivities to glutamates and amines. Have you looked into this? At the time, I was following the Weston Price diet with lots of bone broths, fermented veggies, sprouted grains and seeds, soaked nuts and seeds. I realized it was when I added the sprouted grains that my hives started. I had to discontinue all of the above to get the hives to subside, which they did completely, and not a single outbreak since. I have done some research on glutamates and amines, it's pretty esoteric--but not all that uncommon. Obviously, I have no idea what your diet's like, but thought I'd pass on my experience. Also, I slathered myself with milk of magnesia and took epsom salts baths with baking soda to get relief. Nothing else worked.
