LOL I think it was all of 2 weeks and I and hubby could no longer wait. Not to get really technical here, I was on top *blush* and everything was fine. Sex is now better than it has ever been since I have lost 70# ;o) I feel like a newly wed again! I've heard some people say that they've waited a month and then I've heard the opposite where some people say they don't have the urge until 5 or 6 months post op. If you're not in any pain from the surgery and you're feeling strong then just let nature take it's course so to speak........Ah Romance! What would we do without it? .....Sigh..... I am wondering how long after surgery you should wait to have sex? I meant to ask my Dr. and just totally forgot, I don't really want to call them just for that. LOL Anyone know? When Don had his WLS, he had come back from surgery, was in ICU (it was expected with sleep apnea), and was in & out, you know how you are those first few hours. At some point he had his eyes open & was registering, so I whispered, " It's been 15 minutes. " And in his drugged fog, he moved one leg over on the bed & grinned before he fell back to sleep. LOL! Granted, CJ went home once I was settled in at 's, so I didn't really have the opportunity (they frown on sex with the patients on morphine in the hospitals , but once I got home, I STILL didn't let him near me for another few weeks. And I took LOTS of drugs beforehand because I know that it was going to kill my tummy. lol. After the WLS, we waited something like a week, but the TT was a killer. All I wanted was my drugs, no CJ or anything else, just my wonderful drugs. Hmmm ... I miss my drugs. Is it time for more surgery so I can get some more? I can just picture myself going into the surgeon's office saying, " Please doctor, amputate something. Remove something!! I need more drugs!!!!!
