Guest guest
I agree, it’s been quite on the list for the past few days, I think that it’s because the Holidays are right around the corner, and everyone is either resting up for the festivities/ or finding a good hiding place (which is my case) until the festivities are over. In either case I hope that no one over does it … Tyra Quiet Wow, we sure are quiet today. Guest guest
Kathy, I've been wondering about too. -- quiet Geez we've been quiet lately! What's up with that? BTW, has anyone heard from Owens lately? I mean, I know she was going no-mail for awhile following her father's death, and that she most likely has all the estate stuff to deal with, but has anyone heard anything? It's been awhile. Guest guest
I'm not sure how I'm doing today - still trying to wake up. Our new minister starts today, so I plan to go to church. After that, lunch & I'd love to hide under the covers, but I put off balancing the checkbook & need to do that today. We have dogs & cats with too-long toenails, & it takes both of us to take care of that. I hope a bath will help my stiff muscles & wake me up. I had dreams all night, woke up over & over, & this morning was almost crosswise in the bed. I doubt slept, but he hasn't said. He isn't taking care of himself like he used to, eating food he shouldn't, gaining weight. Flexeril seems to be helping Mother rest some. Amy & have totally lost their minds. Remicaid is due Tues. Cold weather & rain tonight, so might be a difficult ride to work tomorrow. We got a lot done in our "spare room/junk room" yesterday - emptied a huge trunk that is going to the church youth for their yard sale. How's the weather there? -- Re: quiet How are you doing? Guest guest
Cold. Snow on the ground and more to come later in the week. Hope you feel better after the bath--sounds like you overdid yesterday and plan to do so today. You need to rest on the weekends since you are still working during the week. Yesterday I did some laundry and cleaned the microwave and organized the coupons. How exciting, LOL. Today we're having the parents and kids for superbowl. We were planning on staying home and watching it alone, but then his Mom called to see what we were doing and it just grew from there. We're having them here because we didn't feel like going anywhere. So in a bit I have to make the sloppy joe and dust and vacum, but Denny will help with that. I plan to relax as much of the day as I can. With just getting back from FLA a week ago and then the week we had with Angel and my biospy I'm totaled and we leave on Thursday for two days in Atlantic City with his and my parents. It's Denny's birthday Thurs and his Mom's Friday so that's what we're doing. I do love AC and LV though, it's something that can be done sitting and is out of the house, LOL. We can't afford it often, though. This year we're overdoing it on vacations (Fl, now AC, the Southwest in April) but we need to do things while we can. Heck we SHOULD have done things when we REALLY could. Hope you have a good day. Kathy Re: quiet How are you doing? Guest guest
, I hope you feel better after you are awake. It sounds like your life is in turmoil just thinking about all the little things you want or need to do. You are obviously suffering from a bad night and interrupts what should be a relaxing and peaceful day. I hope starts taking better care of hisself again because it is obviously a worry for you...that added to your Mom's problems and whatever is up with Amy & ...and you have your day filled with lots of worries. Maybe what you need to do is take today and just relax with a good book or just a long nap. Hope the new week will bring you some peace of mind and the Remicaid treatment goes well. Thinking of you and will say a prayer also. The skies have been darkening more and more all day as the clouds roll in and the temperature is about where it was when we got up this morning...hovering around the freezing mark. I hope the forecasters miss the mark this week about the storm coming in. I don't need another freezing rain or ice storm to deal with as I prepare to head South this week. Guest guest
We're at about 14 degrees right now. It might be a little lower because that's on the other side of the mountain. But it feels so much warmer because the wind is gone. Tomorrow morning we're expecting a small ice storm, so if I'm off-line at all , that will be why. We go down to AC for Denny and his Mom's b-days on Thurs. So if we have the storm I might not be online until Sunday, so don't worry if I'm unusually quiet. --good luck with the Remicaid and try to keep yourself less busy this week. Last night was nice (except the wrong team won, LOL--not that I cared one way or the other), but we had some great food--some of which I could actually eat because my stitches have dissolved and although it still is very tender the lip doesn't hurt as much. Stitches always make things more tender as the body tries to reject them. I couldn't eat my sloppy joe because of the amount of open mouth required for a sandwich and because it was spicy and the lip can't handle that yet, but everyone said it was good. I did have some shrimp and some cheese. Kathy Re: quiet How are you doing?
