Janet,

Just curious about the " no further comment " on Kendall Regional ? I

had my surgery there almost 8 months ago, and the staff, doctors and

everybody in general were / have been great. Do you know something

in particular or is it just the " rivalry " I have heard about between

Baptist and Kendall.

Yeah but the "deal" was that I would be at the wedding and she would take the GED test the following Tuesday. Actually what she's taking is the test to see if she can pass the GED. The community center does this free and they offer free classes to help in areas where needed. If you pass the "pre test" then you can take the GED. Basically, they try to save your $40 if you aren't going to pass anyway. She was going to take the pre test. When I told her Saturday that I wasn't feeling up to going to the wedding and I didn't think my heart would be in it, SHE said "But we had a deal!!!!" HA!

I feel like she screws me coming and going. By the way, "small town talk" that I'm tired of hearing is that Tina wears the same clothes everywhere she goes. I had cleaned out my closets a few weeks ago and had the top shelf stacked with things I was getting rid of. My theory was, if it could stay on that shelf for a couple of months and I never wore it, I'd give it to Goodwill. Well, I took it all down, bagged it up and gave it to Tina. Not a thank you, kiss my ass, nothing. I called her the next day to see what fit and it all fit except a couple pairs of pants and she said "I'm wearing one of the outfits now." Well........ good for you. Brat.

WHY do I do this???

, like I said, you deal with Tina and I'll take care of Amy. LOL It's always easier to be strong when it's someone else's kid!

Amy

I can't go into everything right now - not enough time. The problem with Amy has reached a level I'm having trouble living with. Please pray for us.

Yep. I started flying every summer to my grandparent's when I was 5. Mom put me on the plane in California and the stewardesses babysat me through changes, etc. and Granddad picked me up in Atlanta.

I would think driving is a non-issue.

Re: Amy

I hope things straighten out for you all. And it's none of my business to say so, but needs to grow some balls and stand up to his Mom and stop letting her do his thinking for him. It's for the good of his children to see both sets of grandparents.Heck I even made sure that my kid's paternal grandparents got to see the kids and talk to them as regularly as possible long after we were divorced--and they hadn't exactly done a stellar job at setting an example for their own kids.

WHY do I do this???

Well you're being Mom and trying to help your ungrateful daughter. In my experience Mom's want to save their kids from going thru alot of the crap that we've been thru. It doesn't work that way tho, they have to make their own mistakes and learn to deal with the concenquences. Tina is old enough to make her own decisions and her own way in the world, quit enabling her to still be a kid and keep running to Mom to save her. Where's that "tough love" attitude Christy?? She's married, both of them is able to work, so why don't they have everything they need?? So what if she wears the same clothes every day, is it hurting you??? Its her choice, right?? Let it go and let her live her own life now Mom. NO MORE MONEY!!!!!!! If you feel you must get them something, wait a few days and see if they can work it out, then talk to Ronnie and see what he says. If you both agree that they really need something, take them to buy it for them, don't give them money. If you give them money it won't be used for what they're asking for anyway.

Hugs,

, my heart hurts for you. I hate to see families have disagreements and let them ruin their family units.

I pray that Amy and will come to their good senses along the way soon.

Hugs,

Jane

Amy

I can't explain everything right now; I need to figure some things out myself. But, Amy needs thoughts, good vibes, prayers; & Connor & Cate need them more than Amy. , well needs a spanking. I'm trying not to worry about the situation, but it's hard to watch my own child forget she's an important person.

Thank you,
