Flora,

This is no time to get blown away. Find something sturdy and get a grip. I

just know you will be ok. We have a date in October and I sure want you to be

there all in one piece! Will be sending prayers your way. It does look nasty.

I have been thinking about all of you down there in Florida and all along the

way. We are getting rain and probably will feel some of the effects for the

rest of the week and weekend but nothing like you are going to have. It must be

scary to be right there and know it's coming. I'll be thinking about you. And

Jane Ann and Galen and Edith and Judy, and June Bug & Charley and whoever else

is in Florida or up the coast.

Guys we need everyone's prayers sent down here on the West coast of Florida.

Hurricane Charley is going to give us a hit that's for sure. They have

already ordered mandatory evacuation for our county for those near the

shoreline. So far we are OK but the winds will be are worst enemy for our

area and

they expect 100 mph winds tomorrow around 2:00 PM. Doug is in Miami with a

conference so my daughter and son in law will stay with me but that means my

two

cats their two cats and a Lab in my small house. Whew!! this will be a test

of patience. Keep us in your prayers...................Flora/Florida

Hi June bug,

I hope and pray you and Charlie will be alright through this storm.

I am really sorry to here Charlie is still having such bad problems. I dont take

any of the meds that you mentioned, but I am sure it is very dangerous for him

to be taking so much. I think the therapist had some very good advice on you

being in charge of his meds.

Isnt there anything the doctors can do to help him out more?

Thank you Ronnie and anyone else who is thinking about us here in Tallahassee

and surrounding area. My daughter lives in Apalachicola/Eastpoint, but they

hardly had any bad weather. We have had a lot of rain tonight. Please let me

ask all of you something again. Do any of ya'll take any of the following

medicines at bedtime like Charlie does. Lately he has been taking at bedtime

or

around 11:00 PM - 1 vicodin, 1 sleeping pill, 1 transzene, and 2 mirapexs

with applesauce as he can swallow them better, but isn't that a lot of

medicine

to take especially mixing the sleeping pill and transzene (tranquillers ?) and

last night or rather early this morning around 3:00 or so I was asleep as I

was sooooooooo tired from his legs jumping every night - well " Home Alone

Charlie " gets out of bed into his wheelchair and goes to kitchen and eats

frozen

grapes cause he said his legs and hips were hurting (but he has always eaten

during the night before he ever got sick, but anyway he took another vicodin

and

sleeping pill only 4 hrs after the others so I could not get him up hardly for

therapy this morning and I know he took too much med as his speech for soooo

bad he sounded drunk and the therapist could only stretch his legs and hips

and

he was sound asleep till around 2:00 pm. The therapist told me to take

control of the pills again so I will know what and when he is taking these.

Do

ya'll have regular habits like this ever? Please let me know. I hate to

bother

Thanks so much. We did not get anything. My daughter lives in St.

Pete. and she just went into Tampa a little inward.

Have not heard anything yet so hope she is o.k.
