Guest guest
Hi : Val will ultimately have to weigh in here, but I DID notice that my free levels stayed lower and TSH higher when I was taking D. I always felt funny on it after a few days (would make me feel like I was blacking out sometimes and also made depression worse), but got my levels back up to 74. Ted Friedman has some interesting info on D/calcium/thyroid/parathyroid issues (see http://www.goodhormonehealth.com). My 25-hydroxy level has dropped back down to 20, but my calcium levels are good, high normal range. So, I have decided not to supplement but to tan a couple times a week uusing beds with UVB rays as well as UVA. Good Luck. Avi > > I've noticed some posts here re: Vitamin D.
