,

I am so very sorry about your faithful companion Aggie.

It has to be so very hard after 19 years. She wont be suffering anymore as you

said, maybe some day you will be back together again

My cousin lost her cat of 17 years a few months ago, she made a book of

pictures and wrote happy times in it that she had with her true friend, it sure

helped her get through the pain of looseing her dear friend Charlie.

Take care of yourself and your two sons.

God bless, Sandy

My faithful companion, my Aggie, 19 yr old terrier mix, ism going to

her maker tomorrow, after saying her goodbye to and my

two sons. I hate to say goodbye, but hate worse to see her suffer.

Talk about torn. This is the most difficult thing I've ever had to

do.

, I feel for you. I had a cat " Fanny " we called her that because

she came to our door with no tail. Had her for 21 years and she had a stroke

and couldn't even walk after that. I cried like a baby for the few hours

before Doug took her to the Vet. Its the hardest thing we have had to do. My

thoughts are with you.......flora

Oh

I understand your sadness. When a dog decides you are it's family, it

finds ways to emotionally tie itself to your heart and becomes more

than 'just a pet'. If you stay at home they are around you and share

more time in life than a spouse or a child.

I pray you will find the strength to get through this

, I have buried many family members but none was as difficult

as having to put my dog to sleep. It was the suffering that brought

on the final decision, but it was so hard to do. He gave me

unconditional love and companionship. You are in my prayers.

Hi :

I too am an animal lover and sympathise with what you have to do but as you

said, you don't want to see her suffer. A good friend of mine has two Shitzu's

and he is going through the same dillema with his baby. She takes seizures and

is on medication (only 10 years old) and I cook a special diet for them that I

found on the internet.

My thoughts are with you.

Jo.

We have had lots of dogs over the years and they love you so much. The

hardest part is they usually don't just die but get so ill that we have to

make that decision and what a hard one it is...

---, I am so sorry. Our dog is 14 now and I know it will

happen soon. I don't know how I will cope as she keeps me company all

day. I'll be thinking of you. Carolyn In PLS-

Hi ,

About 4 years ago I had the most beautiful gold persian. We had him since he

was born. He grew up with my children and lived to be 19 years old. When he

got sick it was hard for us to see him like that so we put him to sleep and we

all felt like a part of us had been taken from us. I know how you feel. Since

then we've had about three other cats 2 who ran away and one who was killed by a

car. Now I have a black 7 month old who we got as a baby. We love her very

much. Hope you will feel better soon.

God Bless

Yolanda
