CONGRADULATIONS, Sandy I am up To all, Just had to let you all know that I can now stand up by my self off of the scooter and transferring from scooter to toilet seat. Guest guest Posted July 28, 2004 Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 Just a thought, but perhaps our spouses don't want us to do things that might hurt us is because it could mean extra work and worry for themselves. If I fall, Dick can't get me up by himself. If I get hurt, he may need to take me to the emergency room or hospital and then take even more care of me at home.
